    Very realistic, enjoyable to build, great for both display and use.

    The only part that can be improved is which parts go in which bag. Cause very early on in the building process i had already opened all the bags of pieces because i needed one or two pieces from that bag.

    So just some better sorting to make the bags more ordered so that i dont need to have 5 bags worth of pieces on my desk at once.

    First of all, the delivery was super fast – even quicker than stated. The assembly was easy to understand, and if you sort and organize the parts beforehand, I would estimate the build time to be around 6–8 hours.

    In the end, the replica looks fantastic, and the functionality is exactly as shown and described in the videos – 100% accurate. It should definitely not be considered a toy for children.

    In my case, one part was missing, but that wasn’t the shop’s fault – it likely happened during manufacturing. Still, the missing part was sent to me free of charge, so kudos for that as well.

    Overall, I would give this replica a 10/10, and for fans of repeating rifles and building bricks, it’s an absolute must-have.

    The corners of the bricks were really sharp (had to sandpaper some of the corners as it was hard to handle the gun without feeling any pain) and one of the smaller unimportant pieces was not in any of the bags (1 4274 Light bluish grey) , however, the intructions given were really clear and i am quite happy with the finished product despite the issues stated.

    This kar98k model is as good as they get honestly, not only is it an almost perfect display model, but the Kar98k functions are all there. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow and the kit itself had everything you needed, the only drawback I can think of the lack of numbered bags but it isn’t a big deal, the build only took me about 3.5 hours. Overall I highly recommend this model, as it was masterfully designed.

    Amazing building kit. I pre-ordered this and got free shipping to New Zealand! The shipping didn’t take very long either. The only downside to this kit is that the rubber band for the bolt breaks after a little while and I’m up to my last one. Overall the building process was fun, the functions of the rifle are great and incredibly accurate, as well as looking great as a display piece it is always fun to set up some targets and start shooting. I would recommend this build to anyone unsure of buying it.

    The build is incredibly well and thoughtfully designed – from the way it operates to how it looks on display and feels in the hands.

    I really like this kit, even if it’s a bit expensive.

    What I like:
    – The firing mechanism is much more reliable than that of other brick guns I’ve built, even if still not quite perfect.
    – The surface is really smooth. You see very few brick studs or holes.
    – Rubber bands are included.
    – Sight is adjustable.
    – Looks really good.
    – Trigger automatically returns to origin position, unlike other models I’ve built.
    – Very few unclear steps during assembly.

    What I dislike:
    – Some bricks are just a tiiiny bit differently colored. It’s barely noticeable unless you know it’s there, though.
    – While I get it’s a brick gun, it’s still a bit unstable. I was trying to hold it by just the stock and the whole barrel and body came off. Other brick guns I’ve built have been more stable.
    – The trigger takes a loooot of force to push.
    – The bullet loading mechanism is only about 60% reliable and jams often (bullets being not straight).
    – The bolt knob is pretty easy to rip off when not grabbing the bolt by the other bricks.

    What I would like to see improved in future products:
    – In the manual, it’d be really nice if long parts showed the number of studs. Counting 13 studs in the manual is tedious when there could just be a “13” next to the brick picture.
    – The rubber band final assembly was not directly shown step by step in the video. I understand this is probably for legal reasons, but still something that should be solved differently.

    All in all, I really like the model as a display model, but the ability to actually shoot bricks should be considered a nice bonus, and not the reason you buy the model.

    Only minor issues; Instructions are very slightly outdated. One part was faulty, replacement was sent free of charge. The colour of the plastic is slightly inconsistent and quality of the bricks is about average that you can expect from a brand that genuinely makes not-LEGO.
    Very good kit otherwise, would certainly recommend if this is exactly the kind of thing that you like- but the price does feel steep to me. 8.5 out of 10

    i ended up finishing it today, annoyingly the loading of the gun isn’t really consistent and i actually had part of the “lego” snap when loading. It seems there’s a gimmick to chambering a bullet rather than it being a simple bolt action. not saying not to buy but i will say that its nothing like what advertised and to proceed with caution.

    Had so much fun building this kit, the instructions and clear and concise, very easy to follow. The planning & thought that has gone into this design really shines through as you’re building it. It all comes together so well and was a really rewarding process.

    It looks so great, and fires pretty well for a brick gun. The best part for me was the build itself, so good, so much fun.

    Some of these reviews seem to be penned by morons.
    – separate the bricks into like for like, makes it easy to find them as needed.
    – handle it delicately while building ffs.
    – remember it’s primarily a model for display purposes, it may not function perfectly for every shot.

    Above all, it’s such a fantastic build, have fun with it!

    No bricks were missing and the colours of them were also perfect. (had some colour differences in other lego models (not from you) but thats on lego itself).
    The mechanism and functions are well developed and there is really know-how in it. Actually nice to see whats possible with standard lego bricks.
